We simply bedazzled by HTC Incredible S after our hands-on at MWC, but the auto-rotating icon for capacitive buttons that leaves us most interested. So we went back to HTC's booth to try to understand everything. From what we can observe, there are some optical tricks going on here: icons appear sparkling and shimmering depending on the angle of view as if lit by, half-mirror prism or grating of some kind. We think that a pair of LEDs are used for projects aimed at the icon to the glass surface through a combination of prism and half-mirror, or through an open furnace horizontally and vertically polarized.
